Police Torture on Minor boy from Religious Minority causes Psychological trauma
On 08/03/2010 at 12.15 am while a minor boy of 14 years named Master Ahidul Molla of religious minority along with one of his brothers was busy with some job at their bag factory, was arrested by the police of Bhangar Police station without preparing any memo of arrest at the spot (violation of Justice D.K. Basu guideline).
The victim boy as well as his family members was told filthy words by the policemen.
While he was detained at the
police lock-up for more than seventeen hours, he was provided food only once
and that too after his keen urge. He was interrogated several times at the
police station and every time it was full of extremely derogatory and
defaming words. Finally, he got release from the police custody after signing on a bond while
he did not commit any crime.
Presently the victim boy is surviving under acute psychological trauma.
